THANK YOU for considering donating to the University of Mountaineering Club Steve Must Memorial Scholarship (Formally known as the Outdoor Leadership Scholarship Program). The UCMC has been introducing students to the wonders of the outdoor environment since 1975. In that time, the UCMC has taught hundreds of folks to rock climb, cave, backpack, canoe, raft, and protect the earth. The Club, however, is limited in its resources to expand upon the basic training it can provide its members. The Steve Must Memorial Scholarship attempts to bridge that gap by subsidizing an undergraduate's costs to take a much more detailed and intensive training in some area of outdoor activity. Afterwards, the student is obligated to bring that knowledge back and share it with the entire membership. Check out the Charter for details.

The UCMC has set up a Scholarship Program through the UC Foundation. The Foundation takes in money, then transfers it into a special savings account that can ONLY be used for the Scholarship Program. All monies donated to the Scholarship are tax deductible. Here is the address:
